  • La isla de La Gomera, de forma casi circular, es la segunda más pequeña del Archipiélago Canario. La isla tiene, aproximadamente, 12 millones de años de antigüedad y por su morfología está repleta de barrancos que hacen de La Gomera una de las islas con paisajes más espectaculares y sorprendentes.

Los amantes del senderismo tienen en la isla una joya por descubrir.

 

  • In La Gomera you will find nature in its purest state, where human intervention has created agricultural areas of great beauty. Wait till you see the cultivated terraces, laid out on steep slopes, and you will appreciate the great effort that was made by the local country folk to build and work them. This unique mountain geography has led to the development and tradition of the Gomeran Whistle, a language which is used to communicate across long distances, using only the lips and fingers, and which dates back centuries. People who love hiking are in for a treat, as the island is full of delightful paths to be explored.

 

  • Auf La Gomera findest du eine nahezu intakte Natur vor, in der von Menschenhand besonders schöne Agrarlandschaften entstanden sind. Die an steilen Hängen angelegten Terrassenfelder werden dich überraschen und du wirst anerkennen, mit welchem Aufwand sie von den Bauern angelegt und bearbeitet wurden.  Die einzigartige Oberflächenstruktur der Insel hat die Entwicklung und Verbreitung der jahrhundertealten Pfeifsprache "Silbo Gomero“ begünstigt, die dazu benutzt wird, nur mit Hilfe der Lippen und Finger über lange Strecken hinweg zu kommunizieren. Freunde des Wandertourismus finden auf La Gomera ein Paradies vor. 

 

  • La Gomera te espera para que descubras su gran tesoro, El Parque Nacional del Garajonay, joya del patrimonio natural canario, fue declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO en 1986. Cuenta con uno de los mejores secretos guardados de la islas, el bosque de “El Cedro”, verdadera reliquia del Terciario y referente mundial en la conservación de la laurisilva. Gracias a la acción del mar de nubes (lluvia horizontal) la vegetación es muy espesa, pudiendo encontrar fayas, brezos, laureles y helechos, estando además repleta de senderos para transitar y conocer de primera mano los entresijos de este bosque milenario. 

Un espeso bosque de gran riqueza florística y de aspecto fantasmagórico, con multitud de especies ya extinguidas y apacibles manantiales, definitivamente el lugar ideal para los amantes del senderismo. 

 La Gomera cuenta con 16 Espacios Naturales Protegidos, además del Parque Nacional de Garajonay, lo que supone un 33,3% de la superficie total de la isla.

It has one of the best kept secrets of the islands. The forest of "El Cedro" is a true relic of the Tertiary and world reserve for the conservation of laurel. Thanks to the action of the sea of clouds (horizontal rain) the vegetation is very thick and we can find faille, heather, laurel and ferns. It is also being full of trails to hike, where we can learn firsthand of all the secrets of this ancient forest,

A dense forest of notable richness in terms of its flora, with a magical appearance. Here you will find many species that are extinct elsewhere, as well as peaceful springs; this is definitely the ideal place for people who love hiking.

In addition to Garajonay National Park, representing 33.3% of the total area of the island, La Gomera has 16 protected natural areas.

  • La Gomera wartet darauf, dass du ihr wahres Juwel entdeckst, der Nationalpark Parque Nacional de Garajonay, ein echter Schatz des Naturerbes von La Gomera, wurde 1986 als Welterbe der UNESCO erklärt. In seinem Inneren befindet sich das bestbewahrte Geheimnis der Insel La Gomera, der Wald EL Cedro, ein wahres Relikt aus der Tertiärzeit und weltweit ein Begriff bezüglich der Erhaltung des Lorbeerwaldes. Dank der Einwirkung des Wolkenmeeres, als Phänomen des „horizontalen Regens” bekannt, ist die Vegetation dicht. Hier gibt es Gagelbäume, Baumheide, Adlerfarn und Lorbeer. Außerdem ist eine Vielzahl an Wanderpfaden vorhanden, wo man direkt das Verborgene dieses tausendjährigen Waldes kennenlernen kann.

Ein dichter Wald mit großer Pflanzenvielfalt und phantasmagorischem Aussehen, mit einer Unzahl an bereits ausgestorbenen Arten und beschaulichen Quellen, unzweifelhaft der ideale Ort für Wanderfreunde.

Außer dem Nationalpark Parque Nacional de Garajonay gibt es in La Gomera 16 geschützte Naturschutzgebiete, die 33,3% der Gesamtoberfläche der Insel bedecken.

Un paisaje esculpido durante siglos por la erosión tras dos millones de años de ausencia de erupciones volcánicas. También disfrutarás de verdes valles cubiertos de palmeras, entrañables caseríos rurales, impresionantes acantilados, acogedoras calas de arena negra bañadas por aguas cristalinas...

El clima de la isla de La Gomera es templado y suave, con pocas oscilaciones, manteniendo una temperatura media de veinte grados todo el año, lo que hace que sea visitable en cualquier estación.

Another aspect that will surprise you is the sight of the green valleys covered with palm trees, the charming rural villages, the impressive cliffs, and the welcoming bays of black sand bathed by crystalline waters.

 The climate of the island of La Gomera is warm and soft, with few fluctuations, maintaining an average temperature of twenty degrees all year round, which allows visits during any season.

Das Klima auf La Gomera gemäßigt und mild ist, wenig Schwankungen aufweist, mit einer ganzjährlichen, durchschnittlichen Temperatur von ungefähr zwanzig Grad Celsius, was einen Besuch in allen Jahreszeiten ermöglicht.
